The Consortium to Advance School Psychology - International (CASP-I) with its university partners is proud to announce

The Sixth Conference on School Psychology

“The Role of School Psychology in Promoting Well-being of Students and Families”

August 1-3, 2018

Hanoi National University of Education

136 Xuan Thuy Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, Vietnam.

CASP-I’s 6th conference will bring together policy makers, university faculty, leaders of non-profit organizations, practitioners, and parents to advance the discipline, profession and services of school psychology to  promote the well-being of students and their families.

The conference aims to have a positive impact on the public’s awareness of children’s educational and psychological needs and consolidate experts’ experiences into actions to advance the discipline, profession, and services of school psychology in areas of cognitive abilities, academic performance, mental health, special education, social and emotional behaviors, and vocational guidance.

Besides presentations from the professionals in the field of student’s educational and psychological services, the conference also aims to facilitate discussions among policy makers and representatives of the media in contribution to the wellbeing of students and their families.

·       To advocate for school psychology as a means to promote wellbeing of students and families

·       To promote the roles of teachers, families, and communities in promoting students’ resilience, achievement, mental health, thinking and social skills.

·       To determine alternative approaches to identify, assess, and provide services to students with gifted-talented potential and special disability needs in developing countries.

·       To address school problems including threat, self-harm, bullying, juvenile delinquency, etc.

·       To increase understanding of how the evidenced-based practices in school psychology can effectively meet children’s educational and psychological needs.

·       To increase collaboration between policy makers, researchers, clinicians, media, and parents to better coordinate school psychological services for children and youth.

The Conferences registration fee includes:

·       Admission to all conference sessions including post conference mini-skill workshops;

·       A printed copy of the Conference Proceedings for professionals OR a CD for students;

·       Final conference program (printed version)

·       Conference bag, name badge, & other sponsored gifts;

·       Certificate of presentation as author of a presentation (oral or poster) OR of attendance as participant;

·       Coffee breaks.


Please make checks payable to CASP-I.  Full payment must be received in order for registration to be processed.  Registration is guaranteed only after your check has cleared.  If your check is returned, CASP-I reserves the right to cancel registration if an alternate approved payment is not supplied.

Please be advised that CASP-I is not responsible for checks or letters lost or delayed in the mail.

If you need to cancel your registration, we must have your request in writing. You must send your written notice of cancellation, via e-mail, to Sixthconference@casp-i.org or via postal mail to:

Only cancellation requests received before July 1st will be refunded, less a $30 processing fee, prior to the Conference.
